Science Unlimited & Girls Exploring Science

Science Unlimited & Girls Exploring Science are our two science clubs for Boys and Girls respectively. Both clubs feature hands on science, engineering and tours for 3 hours on Saturdays, and are available for youth in grades 1-8. These club meetings are split into classes by age so that all children will be challenged and having fun with kids at the same level as themselves.

There is no class size limit for registration - we will be accepting anyone who wants to register and dividing the entire group into classes of about 16-20 children by age.

Science Unlimited runs from 9 am until noon. Girls Exploring Science runs from 1 pm until 4 pm. The fee includes a t-shirt as well as snacks and drinks.  Science Unlimited & Girls Exploring Science dates include 16 installments in two terms throughout the school year.

The program will include  tours on campus, science activities and engineering projects.  The curriculum is currently being developed for this year. Each week will feature a diffent activity and we will try to cover most of the sciences and a variety of engineering fields during the year. The curriculum is totally different in each term.  Topics this year will include magetism, biology, chemistry,hydraulics, computer science, a parent engineering challenge, Engineers without Borders, and a veterinary medicine lab.

The cost forr Term 2 is $100.00.  A $10.00 discount will be applied per child for families registering more than one child.

Cost and Bursaries

Fo r8 three-hour meetings during the school year, the cost of SU/GES is $100.00.

We have a financial bursary program to ensure that all youth can attend our club programs.
